As a subject matter expert and business process technologist, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing our student information system (SIS), Anthology Student. The Opportunity As a Solution Architect, Student, you will work closely with our team to manage the overall solution design and implementation of Anthology Student. Your responsibilities will include: Providing critical guidance and support from presales through the remainder of the project lifecycle, including process reengineering and integration design Facilitating solution design/blueprinting sessions and documentation based on industry best practices Identifying and implementing solutions to solve customer problems Guiding the implementation team with data conversion quality, configuration, functional design documentation, and user acceptance testing Managing shared responsibility of Functional and Technical teams during implementation to ensure solutions and modifications are designed with integrity and documentation is adhered to Playing a vital role in translation between Functional and Technical teams Following the prescribed Anthology implementation methodology and tools, understanding the key activities and deliverables for client engagement and internal projects Driving continuous process improvement in the implementation methodology and best practices Conducting in-progress project reviews to ensure compliance with project goals and operability of solution Working with the project team to manage the quality of the deliverable throughout the project lifecycle Taking ownership and responsibility for overall project success Coaching and mentoring Implementation Consultants to further their professional growth and development Participating in after-hour meetings with management and clients, as needed This role requires approximately 75% travel, providing opportunities to work with customers and stakeholders across the globe. The Candidate To succeed as a Solution Architect, Student, you will need: Essential Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in higher education At least 5 years working with project teams in software installation, configuration, customization, or implementation Bachelor's degree in a related field Demonstrated experience conducting presentations, in-person training sessions, and/or online/webcast training Demonstrated experience in data management and transformation or intermediate experience with Excel (Power Query and Power Pivot) Adaptability to quickly learn new technologies to explain all Anthology products and services Software troubleshooting skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Proven effective listening skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team and matrixed environment Proven track record of building customer relationships, persuading and influencing decisions, and overcoming objections Highly developed networking skills to establish strong internal relationships to achieve results Fluency in written and spoken English Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education with a focus on business process modeling, technical writing, and software implementation Relational database management experience, including queries, reporting, and administration (SQL, ODATA) Understanding of business intelligence tools, MS Power BI Career Growth and Learning Benefits At Anthology, we invest in our employees' growth and development.
