Job Title: Solution Architect - Databricks Implementation (Contract / C2C / Part-Time)
Location: United States (Remote - Occasional travel to Orlando)
Start Date: Immediate (Project already initiated)
Engagement: Contract / C2C / Part-Time (Flexible options available)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Databricks Solution Architect to join an ongoing, high-impact data transformation project. This is an urgent requirement where you will play a key role in designing and guiding the implementation of a scalable, modern data platform.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement end-to-end Databricks-based data architecture
• Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers)
• Establish data governance frameworks using Unity Catalog
• RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
• Metadata management
• Data lineage tracking
• Architect data ingestion pipelines from multiple data sources
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build scalable data engineering and analytics solutions
• Define semantic layers for BI and reporting tools
• Provide technical leadership and client-facing architectural guidance
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience with Databricks platform & ecosystem
• Hands-on expertise in Medallion Architecture implementation
• Good understanding of Unity Catalog (Governance, Security, Lineage)
• Experience designing modern data platforms (ETL/ELT pipelines, Lakehouse concepts)
• Strong knowledge of data engineering principles
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
• Ability to join immediately or within short notice
Nice to Have
• Experience with AWS / Azure data services
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise data transformation programs
• Prior consulting or solutioning experience
