We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with deep expertise in CRM, PRM, and CPQ platforms to join our global IT team. As a Solution Architect – Commercial Systems, you will report directly to the IT Director of Global Engineering Systems. This role will lead the architectural design, integration governance, and business process alignment for a modernized commercial technology stack, centered on Salesforce, Tacton CPQ, SAP, and a legacy in-house Java-based Quote-to-Cash platform.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Define and govern the end-to-end solution architecture for CRM (Salesforce), PRM, and CPQ (Tacton) platforms.
• Lead the integration design between commercial platforms and core business systems (SAP ERP, legacy QTC).
• Partner with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with process improvements and digital transformation goals.
• Architect data flows across commercial systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and real-time availability of customer, partner, and product data.
• Collaborate with data and analytics teams to design reporting structures, dashboards, and enable predictive insights using embedded analytics or AI-enabled tools.
• Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of AI/ML capabilities within Salesforce or adjacent tools (e.g., predictive lead scoring, recommendation engines, anomaly detection).
• Maintain architectural documentation, roadmaps, and technical governance standards for commercial systems.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 10+ years of experience in IT solution architecture with a strong track record in Salesforce and commercial systems.
• Hands-on experience with CRM, PRM, and CPQ solutions, ideally across multiple business units or geographies.
• Experience and comprehension of SAP ECC from a data and architecture perspective.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and architecture (REST API, enterprise middleware solutions, RPA).
• Experience designing or supporting data pipelines, models, or analytics solutions across enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML capabilities in commercial platforms or experience integrating external AI services.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Tacton CPQ or other manufacturing-specific CPQ tools.
Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $125,500.00 - $263,600.00.
