Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join the development team and perform reviews and validation of development output to ensure requirements are met prior to output being released to clients.

Your Responsibilities:
• Review task request to understand the scope, requirements and expected outcomes
• Create test case scenarios from task specifications
• Examine data and conditions for expected outputs with no unexpected changes
• Document your findings from the QC review and testing
• Take ownership of your work, including researching, fact checking, proofreading, and asking for help when you need it
• Work with internal teams to escalate problems and/or errors to ensure they are resolved/corrected
• Adhere and contribute to improving internal QA processes and associated documentation

You Must Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 4+ years’ equivalent experience
• Familiarity with document comparison software like Adobe, Delta, etc
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to create test plans and use cases from task specifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in cooperation with developers, business analysts, and customer support
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and tight deadlines
• Able to prioritize workload efficiently to ensure work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining the highest standards of quality
• Team Player
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

We Would Also Prefer:
• COBOL programming experience
• Experience within either Mortgage, Finance, Banks, Healthcare industries
• Experience with multiple data formats including Mainframe data
• Experience with Agile development
• Bilingual - English/Spanish
