Responsibilities:

· The candidate is responsible for leading technical innovation in Quality Assurance life cycle primarily in the area of Customer Use Case Testing.

· Architect, Design and develop Customer focused Functional Test Plans for qualifying the Certes Network Security Products.

·Own product areas and lead the test effort for Use case testing and customer interactions.

• Drive initiatives to define functional test plans and develop the tools and mechanisms to allow team members to work in that environment.

• Work with development and product management team to develop Test methodology and Test plans for end-to-end functional testing.

• Collaborate with Development, Support and Tech-Pub teams to ensure company delivers high quality products to customers.

• Execute daily iterations of test plans and improving automation coverage.

• Must generate visibility and trackability of the process in place to measure progress.

• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with ability to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to changes in market conditions.

Preferred Skill Requirements:

· 0-2 years of Software Engineering in QA

· Networking Fundamentals: TCP/IP, UDP

· Scripting & Programming:
Python, Linux, Bash (for Test Automation), Robot Framework

· Test Management & Bug Tracking:
Jira, Git

· Network Simulators & Virtualization: VMware, KVM, Docker, Kubernetes

· Customer Use Case Testing & Functional Test Plan Development

· Advanced Data Structures

· Custom Collections:
Subclassing list, dict, set.

· Networking & Web Scraping

· HTTP Libraries: requests

· Documentation & Best Practices

· Code Formatting: pyflakes, flake8, pep8

· CI/CD & Dev Ops Integration

· Dockerized Testing (Running tests in containers)

Position:

This will be a full time remote position in the Pittsburgh area and will require in office work as well for the QA lab. The position will include a base salary and a full benefits package will also be available to the successful candidates.
