About the JobAs a Software Engineer at Red Hat, you'll play a key role in shaping the way Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is developed and tested. As an Automation Engineer, you'll contribute to enhancing the release processes by developing automated testing tools and services, ensuring continuous improvement of our Hybrid Cloud ecosystem. The role requires a creative mindset, adaptability to rapid changes, a passion for learning, and active communication with the Fedora community.What you will doDevelop the Test Management Tool (TMT) and Testing FarmCollaborate across the entire Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) solution portfolioPerform root cause analysis for reported and identified issuesAdvocate for internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are metWhat you will Bring3+ years of experience in Software or Quality EngineeringBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceStrong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficient in programming skills (Python preferred)Solid background in Linux OS, including shell scripting and Linux server/laptop installation.Ability to assist in/perform root cause analysis of issues and develop reproducersKnowledge of Ansible, AWS, OpenStack, OpenShift, or Kubernetes is a plus.The salary range for this position is $94,550.00 - $151,170.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.Pay TransparencyRed Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat's compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity.
