Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Southwest Airlines, working on a Salesforce application that provides a 360-degree view of customers and their interactions with the airline. As a key member of the Customer360 team, you will design, develop, test, and implement software systems that meet customer requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply programming skills to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
Communicate project status and proposals to clients and stakeholders
Document system and application architecture for future updates and maintenance
Evaluate customer needs and develop software to meet requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during design, testing, and maintenance phases
Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software products
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Intermediate knowledge of software development processes, practices, and technologies
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred)
Experience with Salesforce development, including Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and Service Cloud
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with DevOps tools, such as GIT and SalesforceDX
