You will lead and coordinate developer efficiency and quality efforts by implementing dev ops solutions, application performance monitoring, test automation and error management toolsets. You will partner with engineering teams across all aspects of the S&S Activewear platform to design and implement these solutions. An ideal candidate must demonstrate strong critical thinking, effective communication, and thorough organization and time management skills. Additionally, this candidate must exhibit accountability and be able to understand and communicate technical issues at a high-level to business stakeholders and customers.Monday-Friday, Full-Time, Exempt (Hybrid or Remote Available) WHAT YOU WILL DOPartner and collaborate with stakeholders and customers to determine requirements, establish project timelines and implementation plansCommunicate clearly about project progress to management and stakeholdersPartner with software engineering leaders to design and implement dev ops automation using target state CI/CD toolsImplement and maintain application performance monitoring tools and dashboardsAdvance testing automation framework to cover additional applications and user journeysManage error aggregation and alert platforms while working with support teams to optimize notification processesLead and participate in daily team standups, assists team in removing blockersHR responsibilities for team including preparing and delivering annual performance evaluationsProvide mentorship and coaching to team members on an ongoing basisDrive team compliance with company cyber security, data privacy and change management policiesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR5+ years of experience in leading a team of software engineers including hiring, performance management, and career coaching5+ years of experience in software development life cycle methodologies and managing project delivery3+ years of experience in dev ops automation software like Azure DevOps, Jenkins or Chef to automate build and deployment with integrated test automationPrevious experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP is a plusPrevious experience with APM data aggregation and reporting is a plusAble to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders and customersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent planning and prioritization skillsPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
