That's a hell of a lot of work - so let's get started.As a Software Engineer (f/m/x) in Tomorrows banking team, you will be working directly on the further development of our core banking services. Together with a crew of experienced colleagues, you will be responsible for guaranteeing the smooth running of our payment transactions and incorporating exciting new features into our back-end services. In our cross-functional team you will be working together with product owners, designers, front-end engineers, and of course other back-end engineers.Your responsibilities will include:
You will further develop our Java and Kotlin-based back-end services.
You will discuss implementation details with different stakeholders.
You will analyze any problems that occur and solve the bugs causing them.
You will help the team to extract further features from a monolith into smaller microservices.
What we're looking for
You have already gained first professional experience as a Software Engineer.
You have a good command of programming with Java or Kotlin.
You have a good knowledge of SQL and basic knowledge of GitLab.
You follow the principle: You build it, you run it.
You set great store by clean code and enjoy improving old legacy code by refactoring it.
Highly automated test coverage is a given for you.
You are fluent in English.
You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

Salary
53.000-61.000 EUR annual gross + one-time 5.000 EUR in virtual shares

We expect our future Software Engineer (f/m/x) to work on-site in our office an average of 1 day per 2 weeks.
