Software Development Test Engineer Mid/Senior

As an intermediate or senior software development test engineer (System Test Engineer/Sr) on the Customer Relationship Management Telecom experience platform, youll work with the Telecom IVR Service Management Team. Youll help the IVR SM Team adopt and mature our testing methodology and work closely with our Platform Lead STE and application SMEs to ensure test engineering disciplines are engrained in our project and technology lifecycles. Youll build and enhance test automation frameworks and tools as well as solve testability challenges through innovative design and development of new testing tools, new automation frameworks, APIs, data generation and validation etc. Youll also communicate and partner with the project team and technicians at all levels to support the needs of application development in product delivery.
This is a remote position for US based work only.
Must-have qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS) and a minimum two years of related work experience designing, programming, testing and supporting software programs and applications.
In lieu of a degree, four years related work experience designing, programming, testing and supporting software programs or applications, or two years related work experience and the completion of a technical training program.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with building test engineering assets using development practices and tools and experience building testing frameworks with solid understanding of the standard interface development environment (IDE) and features in creating automation (e.g., C#/Rest, JavaScript, APIs and automated API testing, Angular/Typescript, Visual Studio, Ranorex, Specflow, and Selenium Webdriver).
Experience in test automation and proficiency creating automated unit, build and regression test suites.
Strong knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools including manual testing (i.e. Black Box, White Box, integration, System, etc..).
Ability to learn more about scripting languages, testing tools, advanced testing methodologies, automation coding
Basic understanding of cloud technologies as it applies to application development.
Compensation
$86,450 - $122,115/year
Gainshare annual cash performance incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
