In this role, as a leader for Amazon Routing technology, you will manage a team of very talented Software Engineers who are working on defining the vision for our new products and then executing to it to deliver exciting initiatives. You will regularly interact with executive leadership and work with products as well as other tech teams as you design and deliver state of the art technologies to evolve our freight marketplace. product. You'll work in a fast paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. As a multi-discipline leader, the buck will stop with you - you will work alongside engineering (dev and test) organization.To accomplish this, you will be expected to have an established background in technology, excellent project and people management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. - 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience

- Experience partnering with product or program management teamsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
