The Software Asset Analyst will work cross‑functionally with IT, Security, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure software licenses are provisioned accurately, utilized efficiently, and maintained in compliance with vendor agreements and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, and system integrity across all asset and license management platforms
• Develop dashboards, reports, and key metrics to communicate license posture, spend optimization, and automation performance to stakeholders

Audit, Compliance & Stakeholder Collaboration
• Support vendor audits by ensuring accurate documentation, reporting readiness, and defensible audit trails
• Collaborate closely with ITSM, Security, Compliance, Procurement, and Finance teams to align automation workflows with policy, renewals, forecasting, and cost‑control initiatives

Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or a related technical operations role
• Strong understanding of common software licensing models, including SaaS, subscription, perpetual, user‑based, and device‑based licensing
• Hands‑on experience automating workflows using scripting or development tools such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript
• Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and system integrations
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and SAM or asset management tools
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work effectively with large, complex datasets
