Software Architect- Azure
We are currently hiring a Software Architect- Azure for a remote role in US. Essential functions • This role requires a deeply experienced Software Architect to lead analysis of complex technical systems in the retail banking and payments sector and the design of highly reliable and scalable solutions for globally-focused clients. Specifically, this is a role with a focus on cloud migration and data engineering. • The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to speak naturally with people across the organisations we work with to understand the domains and their requirements for the systems they rely on. These skills are also valuable for working with engineers to conduct discovery analyses and with account/delivery managers to deliver them to the clients. Qualifications • 10+yrs software architect experience • 6+yrs experience in complex domains (not necessarily banking/finance, but a comparably complex field) • 3+yrs experience in banking/finance • Experience in migration of legacy systems and experience with modern practices (cloud-native, event-driven, microservices, observability) • Stakeholder engagement: able to interview, listen, and surface needs from both business and technical stakeholders • Analysis and communication: able to distill complex discovery input into structured outputs, communicated simply and clearly • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related fields Would be a plus • Experience in retail banking, fintech and ideally payroll and payments systems • Experience specifically with migrating systems to Microsoft Azure • Strong visualization/storytelling skills (e.g. C4, ArchiMate, UML) • Familiarity with security/regulatory compliance assessments • Experience mentoring junior architects and consultants We offer • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects • Work with a highly motivated and dedicated team • Competitive salary • Flexible schedule • Benefits package - medical insurance, vision, dental, etc. • Corporate social events • Professional development opportunities • Well-equipped office About us Grid Dynamics (NASDAQ: GDYN) is a leading provider of technology consulting, platform and product engineering, AI, and advanced analytics services.
