About the role As a Software Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our clients to ensure their success with our software solutions. You will work closely with existing customers to understand their needs, provide support, and identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling Insight products and services. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts to understand their business objectives and software needs. Quoting and Selling of Software for targeted clients Serve as the primary point of contact for clients (for Software), addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Develop a thorough understanding of software products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients. Identify opportunities for account growth by analyzing client usage and needs. Assist in the development and execution of account strategies to achieve sales targets and increase customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the account teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and demonstrations tailored to client requirements. Participate in sales meetings and partner training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling skills. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account updates in Salesforce CRM Prepare a monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast of software opportunities in the territory. Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market insights for management review. Assist in onboarding new clients and new account team members by providing training on software features and best practices. Ensure clients are fully enabled on Insight software service and support options. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Ability to communicate effectively with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members. 6 months + of enterprise selling experience or software operations experience Ability to demonstrate time management and manage competing priorities Basic understanding of software products and technology; ability to learn and grow in the software industry. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently to meet sales targets. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus. Ability to demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail.
