Sodexo Intern - Sustainability

About the position The Sustainability Intern position at Sodexo is a paid internship designed for college students majoring in sustainability management, environmental studies, policy, political science, marketing, or public health. This virtual internship offers part-time hours and runs from January through March 2025, providing students with practical work experience in sustainable practices while allowing them to work remotely around their class schedules. Interns will receive mentorship from a Sodexo manager and have opportunities for professional development. Responsibilities • Coordinate, track impact, and share stories around student food insecurity and Sodexo Stop Hunger initiatives. • Support coordination of the regional sustainability champion network. • Assist in integrating sustainability performance management tools into business processes. • Track competitor trends in sustainability and corporate social responsibility. • Expand and manage a database of sustainability case studies and recognitions. Requirements • Currently enrolled in junior or senior year of college. • Strong research skills. • Ability to work independently with strong time management skills. • Interpersonal skills to engage with various levels of the organization from frontline to VP level. • Passion for sustainability, social issues, and/or wellness.
