Position Type: Part-Time | Teletherapy | Independent Contractor
Schedule: 3 hours per week to start, with potential for increased hours as determined by IEP team

VocoVision is actively seeking a licensed and experienced School Social Worker to provide virtual support to a school district in Portland, Maine. This flexible, part-time opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about student mental health and interested in working remotely within a school setting. The position is expected to start with a light caseload and may grow as additional students are identified by the IEP team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual therapeutic and social work services aligned with student IEPs
• Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with school-based teams
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
• Support students' social-emotional needs through direct teletherapy sessions
• Serve as a liaison between families, educators, and community supports
• Ensure compliance with Maine DOE regulations and district standards

Requirements:
• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW)
• Active LMSW or LCSW license in Maine
• Previous experience in a K12 or special education setting preferred
• Proficiency with virtual platforms and electronic documentation
• Must pass VocoVisions technical and clinical screening
