Responsibilities As a Social Media Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: Content creation : Develop and distribute engaging written or graphic content across various social media platforms, including e-newsletters, web page and blog content, and social media messages. Social media management : Manage social media presence for clients, including creating and scheduling content, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics. Analytics and reporting : Use data to develop and measure marketing program performance, and provide recommendations for revising social media, content marketing, SEO, and social advertising campaigns. Influencer outreach : Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts for clients. Content calendar management : Create and manage editorial calendars and syndication schedules. Training and guidance : Provide training and guidance to social media and marketing team members on social media implementation best practices and strategies. Requirements To succeed in this role, you'll need: Excellent knowledge of social media platforms : In-depth knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google, and other social media platforms. Social media management experience : 2+ years of experience building social presence for global consumer brands, with experience in handling social media presence for both B2B and B2C clientele. Analytical and quantitative skills : Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data to develop and measure marketing program performance. Content creation skills : Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree : A BA in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations. Availability : The ability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PT. Organizational skills : The ability to stay highly organized with great attention to detail and be deadline-oriented. Confidentiality and discretion : The ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion. Preferred Qualifications We prefer candidates with: Experience with social media management platforms : Experience with Hootsuite or other social media management platforms. Knowledge of blogging ecosystem : A working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company's field. Experience with design tools and applications : Experience with design tools and applications, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
