Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience at a startup developing brand and marketing strategy? Do you want to work in a remote, collaborative team and create meaningful content that supports people relocating to new cities?
Join Wayhome’s 5th internship cohort this Fall 2025—a unique opportunity to work on an early-stage product as we focus on finding product-market fit and building our customer base.
We’re looking for motivated, creative interns to help us take our marketing to the next level through organic social media, AI experimentation, and collaborative content creation across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
About Wayhome
Wayhome connects renters with fully furnished midterm rentals (+1 month) designed for flexibility, privacy, and ease. It’s ideal for:
• House hunters exploring new neighborhoods
• People undergoing home renovations
• Traveling professionals needing extended stays
Our goal is to make moving to a new city less stressful—and a lot more comfortable.
Internship Overview
This summer, we're building a cross-functional startup team of ~10–15 interns across sales, marketing, design, and programming. You’ll work directly with a technical founder and gain firsthand experience building and launching a product in a fast-paced startup environment.
You’ll help shape and market our MVP through:
• Organic social media growth strategies
• Evergreen content marketing
• Experimenting with AI content tools
• Building a city-by-city marketing & sales playbook
Whether you're more comfortable behind the scenes or in front of the camera, this internship is designed to help you grow.
✅ What We’re Looking For
• Current university students or recent graduates in Marketing, Journalism, Business, or Behavioral Economics
• Strong research, writing, and analysis skills
• Enthusiastic learners who enjoy problem-solving and working autonomously
• Open to experimenting with AI and creative marketing tools
• Friendly and thoughtful communicators—Wayhome’s brand voice is helpful, not pushy
Internship Details
• Time Commitment: 10–15 hours/week
• Team Meetings: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2–4 PM CT (required)
• Location: 100% remote
• Start Date: Immediate openings—rolling acceptance
• Compensation: Unpaid - academic credit, portfolio and letter of recommendation support available
