Role Description Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab to source social media influencers, tastemakers, and trendsetters with varied backgrounds and areas of expertise. We are seeking individuals with strong cultural insight, a distinct point of view, and proven ability to shape conversations around trends. The final pool will represent a wide spectrum of voices — from luxury and fashion-forward creators to budget-conscious, everyday lifestyle influencers. Key Responsibilities Share insights on cultural trends, aesthetics, and consumer behavior Provide authentic perspectives on products, styles, and movements shaping online communities Create and refine content or feedback that reflects your unique taste and influence Support evaluations of social media trends across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X) Qualifications Proven experience as a content creator or tastemaker in shopping, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or related categories (10k+ engaged followers or 2+ years producing trend/recommendation content) Ability to identify, interpret, and contextualize trends — including microtrends, viral products, and cultural shifts — and apply them to product evaluations Content portfolio showcasing trendsetting or tastemaker status in the shopping or retail space (e.g., posts, videos, collaborations with brands) Clear and engaging written communication to describe taste and trends Requirements Hourly Rate: $40–$60/hr (USD), depending on experience and reach Payments issued weekly via Stripe Connect Independent contractor classification Application Process Submit your resume or social media portfolio highlighting your influence and expertise Complete a short 20-min AI interview to share your perspective on trends Selected applicants will be contacted regarding next steps Company Description Mercor is a San Francisco-based company specializing in connecting elite professionals with cutting-edge AI initiatives.
