Social Media Content Strategist – Short-Form Video (Skincare DTC)
We're a science-driven skincare brand looking for a Content Strategist - not just an editor - to own our short-form social presence.
This role is about thinking, not just doing.
You'll lead content strategy across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. You'll decide what we test, analyze what performs, and make smart calls on what to double down on. You'll report directly to the founder.
What you'll own:
• Content strategy and ideation
• Hook testing and structured experimentation
• Scripting, creating, and editing short-form video
• Analyzing retention and engagement data
• Building AI-powered workflows to scale output
• Identifying organic winners to push into paid
You're a fit if:
• You think like a strategist, not just a creator
• You've created content for DTC brands (beauty/skincare is a big plus)
• You run experiments, not just post content
• You use AI tools daily to work faster (ChatGPT, CapCut, ElevenLabs, etc.)
• You're data-curious - you actually look at retention graphs
• You take ownership and don't need hand-holding
• You're fluent in English
You're NOT a fit if:
• You want a "post and schedule" social media job
• You're uncomfortable with data and performance metrics
• You see AI as optional
• You focus on pretty over performance
