Social Media & Community Marketing Specialist
AdvantaServ is a fun, service-focused home services company providing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services across Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming. We are passionate about serving our community, building lasting relationships, and keeping things creative. While this role will primarily focus on AdvantaServ, there will likely be opportunities to support our sister companies — Cherry Glass & Aluminum (commercial/residential glass and aluminum work) and American Pump & Drilling (agricultural, municipal, and commercial pump systems) — with similar marketing efforts.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a confident, outgoing, and creative marketing professional to lead our social media and local business-to-business outreach. This role blends online brand building with in-person networking. You’ll create engaging, on-brand content for Facebook and Instagram, host live streams and pop-up events, and connect directly with the community to build awareness and foster relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the leadership team and our videographer to develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with our brand voice, vision, goals, and existing marketing materials.
• Create, post, and manage engaging content (including videos, stories, and graphics) for Facebook and Instagram.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar that incorporates promotions, holidays, seasonal weather changes, and relevant services.
• Appear on camera for live streams, video content, and community events.
• Brainstorm and implement fun, creative campaigns to boost engagement and brand awareness.
• Plan and participate in community pop-ups, networking events, and local B2B outreach.
• Design strong, professional graphic assets for social posts, ads, and events.
• Track performance of campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
• Outgoing, energetic personality with comfort being on camera.
• Strong knowledge of Facebook and Instagram marketing tools and trends.
• Experience creating videos, stories, and reels that connect with audiences.
• Ability to design high-quality graphics (Canva, Adobe, or similar).
• Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or community outreach preferred.
• Self-starter with a knack for creative problem-solving and generating fresh ideas.
• Passion for building connections and representing brands in a positive, fun way.
