Sleep Technologist or Respiratory Therapist (Patient Sales)
Sleep Therapy Advocate (RPSGT / RRT)
Location: Remote
Schedule: Part-Time (with a clear path to Full-Time)
Company: iSLEEP
About iSLEEP
At iSLEEP, we believe sleep care should feel human.
We’ve built a model that removes friction, shortens time to treatment from months to days, and surrounds patients with real support—not handoffs, not confusion, not delays. Just clear answers, thoughtful care, and a team that actually shows up.
We’re growing quickly, and we’re looking for clinicians who want to be part of something that’s raising the bar—not just maintaining it.
About the Role
This is not a traditional RT or sleep tech role.
You won’t just set up equipment and move on—you’ll sit at the center of the patient journey.
As a Sleep Therapy Advocate, you’ll review home sleep test results, guide patients through their diagnosis, and help them understand what their options actually are—whether that’s CPAP, oral appliance therapy, weight loss strategies, GLP-1 support, or other pathways.
From there, you’ll help them take the next step with confidence.
This role blends clinical expertise with patient guidance. Done well, it builds trust, improves outcomes, and drives meaningful growth.
What You’ll Do
• Analyze home sleep apnea test (HSAT/HST) results and identify clinically relevant patterns
• Clearly explain results to patients in a way that is simple, honest, and actionable
• Guide patients through personalized treatment options including CPAP, oral appliance therapy, weight management, GLP-1 therapies, and more
• Help patients choose the path that best fits their lifestyle, goals, and clinical needs
• Conduct CPAP setups (in-person or virtual), ensuring patients feel confident using their equipment
• Provide mask selection and fitting guidance to improve comfort and adherence
• Troubleshoot therapy challenges such as leaks, pressure intolerance, dryness, or discomfort
• Monitor therapy data and proactively intervene when patients are struggling
• Educate patients on long-term success, including proper use, cleaning, and expectations
• Document all patient interactions and care plans in internal systems
• Collaborate with providers, DME teams, and support staff to ensure a seamless experience
• Contribute ideas to improve workflows, patient experience, and clinical outcomes
What Makes This Role Different
• You’re not just reacting—you’re guiding
• You’re not handing patients off—you’re staying with them through the decision
Who You Are
• RPSGT or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• 2+ years of experience in sleep or DME (HSAT scoring/ review experience strongly preferred)
• Comfortable explaining clinical information in a way patients actually understand
• Confident recommending and discussing multiple therapy options—not just CPAP
• Strong understanding of PAP therapy, masks, and adherence challenges
• Experience with cloud-based PAP systems (AirView, Niko Health, Salesforce, etc.)
• Comfortable working in virtual environments
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple patient interactions efficiently
• You take ownership—you don’t wait for problems to fix themselves
Compensation
• Hourly + Performance-Based Commission
• Commission is tied to patient engagement, therapy initiation, and outcomes—not just transactions
• Opportunity to transition into a full-time role
Why Join iSLEEP
• 100% employer-paid health insurance (for full-time employees)
• 6% 401k Match
• Generous PTO package + Paid Holidays
• A team that actually supports each other
• Real opportunity to shape how sleep care is delivered
• Fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where your work matters
• The ability to directly impact patient outcomes—not just process them
A Quick Note
This role starts part-time, but it won’t stay that way for long.
If you’re someone who shows up, takes ownership, and genuinely helps patients succeed, there’s a clear path to full-time and beyond.
Pay: $28.00 - $37.00 per hour
