Position Summary:

This position offers the opportunity to work independently in the field while being part of a collaborative remote team that supports healthcare providers in understanding and complying with Medicaid program requirements. The role combines in person provider engagement with remote reporting and coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate will play a key part in building provider relationships and ensuring high standards of compliance and service delivery across a defined territory in the San Antonio area. A reliable vehicle and willingness to travel extensively are required.

Process Description:

This role involves traveling to provider to conduct face to face visits in the assigned territory San Antonio area, both scheduled and unscheduled, to ensure compliance with Medicaid policies and foster positive provider relationships. The individual must manage their own territory, stay updated on policy, utilize internal tools and reports, and participate in team and training activities while working independently from home.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and service a designated territory in San Antonio, TX.
• Conduct face-to-face scheduled and unscheduled visits with Medicaid providers to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Travel up to 3 hours each way using a personal, reliable vehicle
• Stay current on Medicaid policies, procedures, and provider support resources.
• Independently track and manage workflow using internal reporting and tracking tools.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with providers, internal teams, and peers.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative workgroups.
• Promote professional and consistent representation within the provider community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Medicaid programs and state policy requirements.
• Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to manage a travel-based schedule.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a dependable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in provider-facing or healthcare support roles.
• Solid understanding of Texas Medicaid programs and provider requirements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with travel and expense processing.

Note: This position is remote, but only open to candidates currently residing in the Houston area due to travel requirements.
