- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify (Plus) themes with a focus on conversion rate optimization.
- Implement custom bundle logic, automatic discounts, upsells, and promo mechanics without breaking margins.
- Create scalable custom sections, including infographics, hero banners, comparison blocks, bundle builders, and promo components.
Work closely with Growth/CRO to:
• Launch A/B tests.
• Implement winning variants.
• Pause and resume logic cleanly during promo periods.
Debug and solve complex issues involving:
• Discount stacking limitations.
• Variant logic.
• Cart behavior (slide-out cart vs checkout).
• Redirect flows between PDPs, bundles, and collections.
Optimize for mobile-first UX, performance, and speed.
Maintain clean, readable, production-grade code.
Collaborate asynchronously with designers (Figma) and growth teams (Slack / Notion).
uD83EuDDE9 Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
2+ years of Shopify development experience.
Strong knowledge of:
• Liquid.
• JavaScript.
• HTML / CSS.
Proven experience with:
• Shopify automatic discounts and limitations.
• Custom bundle logic (not just apps).
• Cart logic and checkout flows.
Experience working on live, revenue-generating stores.
Ability to translate business logic into technical implementation.
Understanding of CRO fundamentals, including AOV, CVR, funnels, and friction points.
