Shopify Expert (Consultant / Freelance)
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Expert to provide strategic and technical consultation to improve the performance, usability, and growth of our e-commerce store. This is a short-term, advisory-focused role, ideal for someone who can quickly assess opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and assess existing Shopify store setup and performance
Identify opportunities for improving conversion rates and user experience
Provide recommendations on theme optimization, apps, and integrations
Advise on product pages, checkout flow, and merchandising strategies
Diagnose technical or operational issues and propose solutions
Offer guidance on marketing strategies including SEO, email, and paid ads
Deliver a clear action plan following the consultation session
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience working with Shopify stores (portfolio required)
Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices
Experience with Shopify themes, apps, and store configuration
Familiarity with CRO, SEO, and digital marketing fundamentals
Basic technical knowledge (Liquid, HTML/CSS preferred)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience scaling Shopify stores or working with DTC brands
Background in UX/UI or conversion optimization
Experience with tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Klaviyo, or Meta Ads
Shopify Partner or relevant certifications
Engagement Details:
Type: Freelance / Contract
Duration: 1-hour consultation (with potential for ongoing work)
Compensation: Hourly (based on experience)
Format: Remote (Zoom/Google Meet)
