Shopify developer or Shopify specialist to customize and configure a Shopify 2.0 premium theme

We are launching a Shopify store and are looking for a Shopify developer or Shopify specialist to customize and configure a Shopify 2.0 premium theme that we will select. All orders are fulfilled in-house. We do not drop ship. This is not a custom-from-scratch build. The goal is to efficiently customize an existing theme, handle integrations, and set up a clean, conversion-focused store. We are looking for the best value. Freelancers, solo devs, or small teams are welcome. Scope of Work 1. Store Design & Build Setup and customization of a Shopify 2.0 premium theme (e.g. Soleway, Track, Caelume, Shobia ...) Design style: clean, minimalist “French/English/Spanish boutique” aesthetic Mobile-first, fully responsive Full theme configuration and branding setup (colors, fonts, layouts) Pages to be created: Homepage Collection pages (Men / Women) Product page templates About Us (brand/story-focused) CSR / Mission page Logical navigation structure based on inventory categories Basic branded visuals setup for: Homepage sections Collection pages Banners (Assets/content will be provided where applicable) 2. Technical Setup & Integrations Platform: Shopify Shipping integration: Shippo (preferred) or ShipStation Canada / U.S. fulfillment focus Email & marketing automation: Shopify Email or Klaviyo Basic flows only (Welcome series, Abandoned cart) Payments: Shopify Payments Additional gateways if required Canadian tax setup: GST / HST configuration Legal & compliance: Setup of all policy pages using provided text Complete order flow & shipping workflow configuration 3. Product Data & Catalog Setup Assistance with bulk product upload (~420 SKUs) via CSV SEO-friendly setup: Product titles Descriptions Tags Custom product field: “Condition” Example: “New in Box” vs “Liquidation Stock” Proper collection structure and catalog organization 4. Marketing, SEO & Optimization Basic funnel setup: Welcome flow Abandoned cart Discount Product-level SEO optimization (on-page) Conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices Analytics setup (Google Analytics / Shopify Analytics / Microsoft Clarity) Social media channel integration 5. Ownership & Management We retain full administrative ownership from day one Clear handover and documentation Optional ongoing support after launch (to be discussed separately) What I’m Looking For Proven Shopify experience (theme customization, not page builders only) Comfortable working with existing themes Efficient, structured, and communicative Focus on functionality and clean execution, not unnecessary complexity Able to deliver within an agreed-upon budget and defined scope.
