We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shift Lead to join our team at Walgreens India. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving success and delivering exceptional customer experiences during our night shift operations (7 PM to 5 AM). Job Summary:
We're looking for a talented individual with a strong and diverse skill set to lead our night shift team. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, managing inventory, handling customer transactions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You will also be expected to model and deliver exceptional customer service, engage with clients and patients, and resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Open and close the store, including managing inventory, handling customer transactions, and ensuring a seamless customer experience
Model and deliver exceptional customer service, engaging with clients and patients, and resolving customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
Manage inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory counts
Assist with accounting activities, including cash handling, cash counts, and bill payments
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including ensuring the floor and stock room are prepared for the workday
Provide training and support to colleagues, including mentoring and coaching on store procedures and customer service standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At least one year of previous leadership, management, or retail key holder work experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of store inventory control and management
Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
