SharePoint to Google Sites Migration Consultant - Turing IT Labs

Project OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned consultant to lead the migration of a significant number of SharePoint sites to Google Sites.This role is critical to our broader transition to Google Workspace and will involve close collaboration with a system integrator and internal stakeholders.The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of successful migrations between these platforms. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct discovery sessions to assess existing SharePoint environmentsDesign and implement a scalable migration strategy to Google Sites and Google DriveRebuild site architecture and content in Google Sites with a focus on usability and performanceCollaborate with a system integrator and internal teams to ensure seamless executionProvide documentation, training, and post-migration supportIdentify and resolve technical issues during the migration processRequired QualificationsDemonstrated experience migrating SharePoint sites to Google SitesStrong proficiency in Google Workspace (Sites, Drive, Docs, Admin Console, etc.)Familiarity with SharePoint site architecture, permissions, and workflowsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to work independently and manage deliverables in a fast-paced environmentMust be available during Eastern Time Zone business hours Preferred QualificationsExperience working with system integrators or in cross-functional project teamsKnowledge of third-party migration tools or custom automation scriptsBackground in digital transformation initiativesEmployers have access to artificial intelligence language tools (“AI”) that help generate and enhance job descriptions and AI may have been used to create this description.
