Its latest €100m fundraising round (Series C) was led by Hedosophia and Sapphire Venture, with continued support from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Motive Ventures, and Notion Capital.We currently employ 200+ people across Europe with our headquarters based in Berlin, Germany, and hubs in Tallinn, Estonia, and London, UK.Please note this job is open to remote UK-based individuals willing to travel to London on a bi-monthly basis.Your missionAct as a subject matter expert, responsible for managing Upvest’s clearing, settlement and transfer processes (initially UK focused) utilising EquisoftBuild relationships with the operational teams of our clients and assist them in supporting their end-users with ISA related queriesContribute to building a best-in-class productOptimise workflows and contribute to the implementation of automation and AI to define our UK client experienceDesign operational improvements whilst ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, addressing potential risks to support reliable and secure operationsCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury and other teams to support efficient processes and address challenges as they ariseParticipate in projects aimed at scaling our UK settlement and transfer operationsMonitor key metrics related to settlement and transfers, providing insights to support business decisions and improve performanceWhat you can expect from this rolePlay a pivotal role in further establishing our footprint in the UK marketWork with the best technology in the industryTravel frequently to our Berlin HQ to have facetime and team building activities with our operational team over thereWhat you bringAt least 3 years of relevant work experience with SIPP and ISA transfersFamiliarity with transfer software such as Equisoft and Origo and exposure to the CREST systemUnderstanding of relevant regulatory frameworks such as CASS, HMRC ISA Manager rulesProven track record of managing teams and driving operational excellenceStrong investigative and analytical skills; ability to identify errorsExceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesFluent in English - both written and verbalExperience in data analysis and process automation using data visualization tools, SQL, Python, or similar is a plusIt’s great if you areLooking for an opportunity to be an early joiner to a new geographical location for a well established European fintech.Looking to progress your career and explore management.Why Upvest?We're working on solving a hard problem: fixing the European securities financial infrastructure that empowers more people to be able to invest.
