ServiceNow Technical Lead/Architect (Remote Based)

About the position Cognizant's Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security Services Practice (CIS) is focused on driving digital transformation through core modernization across various layers. The ServiceNow Technical Lead/Architect will review architectural decisions, provide technical leadership in implementing and maintaining ServiceNow modules, and ensure alignment with business problems. The role requires strong technical and functional knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, GRC, and custom applications. The candidate will also be responsible for driving timely resolution of production issues, optimizing performance, and mentoring the team. Responsibilities • Review architectural decisions and solutions to meet project requirements. • Provide technical leadership in implementing and maintaining ServiceNow modules. • Drive timely resolution of critical production issues and performance optimization. • Lead and mentor the team, ensuring SLA adherence. • Identify system monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms. • Collaborate with business and IT partners to drive ServiceNow governance and best practice adoption. • Develop solutions in ServiceNow and prepare estimates. • Work with end users to troubleshoot and address issues. • Create and modify workflows and migrate data from different tools into ServiceNow. Requirements • Advanced ServiceNow scripting knowledge. • Strong expertise with JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML/CSS. • Experience handling operations projects as a lead and architect. • Good communication and presentation skills. • Hands-on experience with ITIL process implementation. • Effective time management and organizational skills.
