Job Description:ServiceNOW Solution/Presales Consultant Location: remote within the UK Salary: Dependent on ExperienceDue to Security clearance requirements candidates must be UK national/British passport holder/Single nationality/resided in the UK for 10 years.DXC ServiceNow Practice build, sell and deliver solutions that are based on ServiceNow products (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, SAM, SecOps, IRM, CSM, HRSD and Business Apps). Our portfolio encompasses, solution design and customer best fit, and implementation of the solution (Professional Services) and its long-term management (Managed Services and Centres of excellence).To support DXC’s on-going growth in the ServiceNow market we are seeking to expand our Solution ad Presales team in UK&I. We are looking for Solution Architect ideally with experience mainly in the fields of Service Management, Customer Service Management, HR Service Mgt Security Operation and Operations Management (wide platform experience highly desirable).The role: As a ServiceNow Solution Consultant , you will be responsible for leading scoping, design, development and implementation activities across client projects to deliver world class ServiceNow based solutions.You must analyse new business requirements and their correct technical implementation solutions using industry best practices. You will work closely with engagement leads, project managers, business analysts, developers and testers to guide the design through to implementation and beyond whilst ensuring risk and quality standards are adhered to. What does the job involve?Lead the technical delivery of projects based on the ServiceNow platformDefine technical solutions (at an architectural and design level of detail)Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior architects and offshore/onshore development teams.Deliver compelling solution demonstrations across the ServiceNow platform.Design and deliver technical integrations between ServiceNow, client IT and business services.Support sales team with new prospects: initial meetings, demos, solution positioningSupport the formal sales process, RFI & RFP responses, with responsibility for the overall ServiceNow solution.Work with the wider company group on opportunities where ServiceNow is required.Provide expert advice to clients and internal teams on the ServiceNow application and how this can be used to address business problemsAssist development teams in resolving complex technical issues through all stages of the project lifecycle.Continuous growth of knowledge around the ServiceNow platform through certifications, internal/external webinars, case studies, training, community and other resources.Ability to establish deep and lasting relationships with clients and team members to enhance the reputation of DXC as an advisor of choice.Build constructive, working relationships with DXC’s global network of ServiceNow resources.Contribute to the development of DXC’s ServiceNow based product roadmap.Ensure the project delivery team complies with DXC solution architecture standards and frameworks.Operate as a member of the wider DXC community, sharing knowledge across functions and building your personal network within the company.What do I need to succeed?Proven experience in consulting / professional services and technical deliveryA proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on the ServiceNow platform on time and on budget as a Solution Architect.Certified ServiceNow System AdministratorCertified Implementation Specialist in at least 1 product suiteDeep understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: Integration Hub, SSO, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, etc.Experience with delivering solutions in complex client environments.Understanding of common business analysis techniques and approachesExperience of agile and traditional software and project methodologiesAble to communicate with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear to influence and align stakeholders around a proposed approach.Strong negotiator, influencer and team player, used to managing multiple stakeholders in demanding time-critical situations.Strong drive and resilience to overcome challenges or setbacks to achieve your team/project/client goals.Passionate about areas of expertise, managing your own development by learning continuously from experience and seeking out development opportunities.You will need to have the ability to work from home and to travel to client locations for meetings and workshops or work on client sites for periods where required.What’s in it for me?You will be joining one of the leading ServiceNow partners who strive to maintain the highest levels of attainment in ServiceNow.
