We are hiring a ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer with CSM/Workplace experience. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who provide the development of project professional services for customers. The Senior Software Engineer will implement and develop customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale more complex professional services projects. We will provide support and guidance to get you up to speed on some of the most amazing projects! We provide official ServiceNow training so you can achieve multiple certifications. We will set expectations for what success looks like. Then we will allow you use your skills and experience to come up with innovative solutions to achieve customer goals.We are #GoingBeyond Come join our crew!What You Will Be DoingAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will interface with end-users, IT teams and key stakeholders to gather systems requirements for CSM.You will customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications, modules, configure Application UI, Workflow, work orders, transfer orders, inventory, and technician locationsConfiguring integrations between ServiceNow via REST/SOAP web and other applicationsExperience in Flow designer, Business rules, Scripting, Intergrations & Logic implementationsStrong experience with CSM & workplace processes and can guide customers through understanding technical solutions to their business requirementsInteract with technical SMEs to get necessary environment information to support your service map and event workReflect impact assessment rules within service maps and validate with technical SMEs and stakeholdersParticipate in user acceptance testing of the resulting maps, impact rules and event management workPromote your update sets and data across applicable SN environmentsRemediate any production incidents that arise related to this scopeAlign with existing SN technical lead for map/event work to ensure consistent approach that does not break shared patternsProactively maintain operational documentation and SOPs to reduce support risk & inefficiencyWhat You Bring Along4+ years’ experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ServiceNow CSM /Workplace.Experience with integration between ServiceNow and other systems/platforms using both mid servers and cloud to cloudExperience working with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST) and any bi-directional, automated integration between two systems.Data Extraction Technologies (e.g. JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrationsProven experience with implementing ServiceNow CSM, Workplace framework, Discovery, Software Asset Management, ITSM, Service Catalog, and Workflows to meet business requirementsDeep understanding of the ServiceNow CSM & Workplace framework,Knowledge of all aspects of ServiceNow scripting including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script IncludesAbility to create technical design documents and user documentationEducation: A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or demonstrated work experienceCertifications & KnowledgeThe candidate must be willing and able to continue their education within the ServiceNow platform and beyond.
