Job title: ServiceNow Engineer - REMOTE Company: Infinity Consulting Solutions Job description: TITLE: ServiceNow Engineer Location: REMOTE Compensation Range : $65-$75/hour An ICS Enterprise client is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer to come onboard for a 3 month project. This position is specifically to work through a Product Backlog and will likely end at 3 or 4 months. Job Description Summary Models and applies software engineering methods and techniques to the design, definition, development, evaluation, integration, qualification and/or support of complex products, tools, or technologies in one or more areas of expertise. May work independently or cooperatively with other software developers, often assuming technical and project leadership roles. Considered a technical authority in a specific application. May function as a technical consultant or researcher. Key Responsibilities • Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. • Expertise level of ServiceNow portal development experience. • Expert in developing ServiceNow Business Rules, Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs • Experience in developing ServiceNow client and server-side scripting. • Experience of ServiceNow API development and integration of ServiceNow to other Applications. • Expert in ServiceNow administration, configuration. • Work on the assigned incidents as per the defined SLAs and update the ticket status on daily basis. • Provide maintenance for existing ServiceNow implementations. • Applies software engineering methods and techniques to the design, development, integration and/or support of products and tools. • Experience in configuring ServiceNow which involves various modules 3rd party integrations and building custom applications • Strong technical knowledge of most ServiceNow modules • Hands on experience of JavaScript, Angular JS, XML and web services. • Good understanding and experience of Service Portal. • Good knowledge and hands on experience of flow designer. • Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, HRIS, mobile apps or desktop applications products. • Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. • Models and applies software engineering methods and techniques to the design, development, integration, qualification and/or support of the products and tools within one or more areas of expertise. • Works independently or cooperatively as a member of a team. • Often assumes technical and project leadership roles.
