pstrongThe Server/strong is responsible for serving food in a friendly, courteous manner, and performing a variety of duties in and around the dining area and kitchen in order to enhance the customers' experience, in accordance with the company�s mission, and values./p

pstrongResponsibilities:/strong/p

liServe residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner./li
liAccurately and professionally take residents' and guests� food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer)./li
liSet up and break down (bus) tables./li
liAssure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette (e.g. serving from left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.)./li
liMaintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards./li
liEncourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments./li
/ul

pstrongQualifications/strong:/p

ul
liExperience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate./li
liMust be at least 16 years of age with a work permit./li
liHigh school diploma or equivalent./li
liExcellent customer service skills./li
liStrong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs./li
liPossess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families./li
liMust pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests./li
liFor the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines./li
