Series Support Engineer (Mechanical)

Job Description: As a Series Support Engineer within our Powertrain Solutions division, you will contribute significantly to the ongoing quality and performance of our established products. Specifically, within the PS-TC department, which is at the forefront of solenoid technology for automatic transmission control units and emerging applications, your crucial role will be to ensure the robustness and manufacturability of these existing solenoid designs. Your tasks: ► Support and optimize mechanical design of solenoid products in series production ► Manage engineering changes and ensure smooth implementation in production ► Maintain and update CAD models, drawings, and BOMs ► Solve production issues and drive technical improvements with manufacturing teams ► Optimize tolerances for performance, cost, and manufacturability ► Create clear technical documentation and support root cause analysis ► Contribute to product quality and robustness (e.g. FMEA, DRBFM) ► Ensure accurate product data management in PDM systems ► Collaborate with international teams across development, production, and suppliers Qualifications: ► Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or a related field (BSc or MSc) ► Proven background and knowledge within the field of CAD design ► Fluent English (written and spoken) ► Ability to work independently What gives you further advantages: ► Experience with NX ► German language knowledge ► Automotive or series production experience ► Self-motivated, proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn Additional Information: Get to know our #LikeABosch benefits.
