SEO Specialist – Website Audit & Optimization
We’re looking for an experienced SEO freelancer to perform a comprehensive audit and implement on-page optimizations for our website. Our business runs live trivia events and needs stronger visibility in search results for keywords around trivia nights, bar events, and corporate entertainment. Scope of Work The project will include: SEO Audit & Strategy Full technical + on-page SEO audit (crawl errors, site speed, mobile responsiveness) Keyword research focused on trivia, bars, and corporate events On-Page Optimization Rewrite/update page titles and meta descriptions for clarity and keywords Optimize images (file names, compression, and alt text) Improve heading structure and internal linking for better site navigation Technical SEO Page speed improvements (lazy loading, caching, script optimization) Structured data (Event schema, LocalBusiness schema) implementation Sitemap + robots.txt review Content Recommendations Suggestions for additional copy or pages (FAQ, blog, etc.) to support SEO goals Reporting & QA Provide a before/after report of improvements made Validate structured data with Google’s Rich Results Test Share keyword ranking opportunities moving forward Deliverables Audit report (summary of issues & opportunities) Updated meta titles and descriptions Optimized images and technical fixes Implemented structured data markup Post-implementation report with actionable next steps Qualifications Proven experience in SEO audits and on-page optimization (portfolio or case studies preferred) Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and schema markup Ability to communicate findings in a clear, non-technical way (Bonus) Experience working with event or hospitality businesses Apply tot his job
