When that happens, we’re not only making life better for small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.How you'll make an impactThe SEO team is responsible for the organic growth expansion of Xero.com across all search engines. SEO is a key growth channel for Xero, attracting millions of sessions a month. In this role, youʼll contribute to the long term expansion of free traffic, and the successful acquisition for new Org & Partner subscriptions driven by the channel. Leveraging a combination of content optimisation, new content creation and internal linking tactics youʼll drive predictable long term impact by delivering high quality content to users on Google and beyond.What you'll do• Working closely with the SEO Manager, you’ll help deliver our SEO strategy by:• Creating and optimising SEO content briefs using best practices.• Conducting SEO deep dives to diagnose issues and recommend actions.• Supporting onsite and offsite link-building activities.• Reviewing SEO content to ensure it meets Xero standards.• Managing content updates and on-page optimisations in our CMS.• Identifying opportunities to improve SEO effectiveness and efficiency.• Using Google Analytics and SEO tools to generate insights and recommendations.• Leading and supporting ad-hoc SEO projects.What You’ll Bring• Strong understanding of SEO, particularly content optimisation.• Experience working with a CMS• Proficiency in SEO tools, Google Analytics, and Search Console.• A curious mindset with a passion for learning and experimentation.• Effective communicator especially in written form with experience creating briefs & outlines for SEO content Additional Information Why Xero?Offering very generous paid leave to use however you’d like (plus statutory holidays!), dedicated paid leave to care for your physical and mental wellbeing as well as an Employee Assistance Program to access mental health care for you and your family, health insurance, life insurance, and income protection, wellbeing and sports programmes, employee resource groups, 26 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers, an Employee Share Plan, beautiful offices, flexible working, career development, and many other benefits that reflect our human value, you’ll do the best work of your life at Xero.
