Position Overview First Station Media is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Google Ads & SEO Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns and organic search strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role blends technical expertise with creative thinking to drive visibility, traffic, conversions, and return on investment across paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate thrives in an agency environment, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and stays current with search engine updates and digital marketing trends. Key Responsibilities: Google Ads / Paid Search Management • Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns across search, display, shopping, and remarketing to meet client goals such as lead generation, e-commerce sales, and brand awareness. • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to inform campaign strategy. • Write, test, and refine ad copy, extensions, and landing page recommendations to improve quality score and conversion rates. • Monitor budgets, bid strategies, CPA, ROAS, and overall campaign performance. • Identify opportunities for A/B testing and ongoing optimization. • Track and report on campaign performance including clicks, impressions, conversions, CTR, CPC, and revenue. • Collaborate with account managers and internal teams to align paid media efforts with broader marketing strategies. SEO & Organic Search Optimization • Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and rankings. • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to support content and optimization efforts. • Perform SEO audits including technical, on-page, content, and backlink reviews. • Work with copywriters and web developers to implement optimized content, metadata, internal linking, and technical improvements. • Monitor and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and overall SEO performance. • Stay current on search algorithm updates, best practices, and emerging trends. What Success Looks Like • Improved keyword rankings and organic traffic for client websites. • Strong paid search performance with efficient budget utilization and positive ROI. • Clear, accurate, and actionable reporting that supports strategic decision-making. • Effective collaboration with creative, development, and account management teams. QualificationsRequired • 2+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns and SEO efforts in an agency or in-house environment. • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Search Console. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and internal stakeholders. Preferred • Google Ads and/or SEO certifications. • Experience with landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization best practices. • Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress and basic HTML/CSS. • Experience with reporting dashboards and visualization tools such as Looker Studio.
