SEO Content Writer for Location Pages & Weekly Blogs
We’re looking for an experienced SEO content writer to refresh and expand the content for our real estate investment company, John Medina Buys Houses.
We specialize in buying houses for cash across Southern California, and we want to improve our search visibility, engage local sellers, and boost conversions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Phase 1: Refresh 57 Location Pages
Rewrite and optimize our existing city pages (example: https://johnmedinabuyshouses.com/we-buy-houses-san-pedro-ca-2/)
Improve keyword targeting (local + intent-driven)
Strengthen headings, meta descriptions, and internal links
Maintain our helpful, solution-focused tone
Add value while keeping the pages simple and direct
Phase 2: Write 4 Blog Posts Per Month (Ongoing)
800–1,200 words each
Topics related to homeowner concerns, seller education, and real estate trends
Example topics: “What to Do If You Inherited a House in Los Angeles” or “Is Selling to a Cash Buyer a Scam?”
Tone: calm, helpful, informative — not salesy
Ideal Candidate:
Strong SEO writing portfolio in real estate or local services
Knows how to write content that ranks and converts
Can improve older content without making it keyword-stuffed
Familiar with local SEO strategy, internal linking, and readability
