SEO & Content Specialist (Shopify) – E-Commerce Focus

We’re looking for a highly experienced SEO & SEO Content Specialist to help grow organic traffic and conversions for our Shopify e-commerce store. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy—not just basic keyword placement.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute an SEO strategy tailored to a Shopify store

Optimize product pages, collections, and site structure for organic search

Write and optimize SEO-focused product descriptions, category pages, and blog content

Perform keyword research and competitive analysis

Improve metadata (titles, descriptions), internal linking, and URL structure

Identify and fix technical SEO issues (site speed, indexing, schema, crawlability)

Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions using Google Search Console and Analytics

Stay current with Google algorithm updates and SEO best practices

Requirements

Proven experience with SEO for Shopify or other e-commerce platforms

Strong understanding of white-hat SEO and content optimization

Experience writing SEO content that converts (not keyword-stuffed)

Knowledge of Shopify themes, apps, and limitations related to SEO

Ability to analyze data and turn insights into actionable improvements

Excellent written English and attention to detail

Nice to Have

Experience with schema markup and rich results

CRO knowledge and on-page UX optimization

Link-building and content outreach experience

Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar
