What you'll be doing...
The SEO Consultant will be responsible for maximizing the volume and value of organic traffic to Verizon Connect websites.
You'll devise and implement a strategy to increase our exposure on the web using the on and off page optimizations, link-building, content and meta-data shaping. Being within the digital marketing team you'll have a supporting cast that understands what you're trying to do and can provide the data and skills necessary to effect the changes you envision.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting cohesive, compelling SEO strategies that guide the technical development & content processes. This may include site crawls, content audits, linking strategies, redirect mapping, local, and data analysis of site performance.
Providing actionable insights for site improvement based on data and competitive gap analysis.
Measuring and reporting out on the effectiveness of organic and marketing strategies and performance.
Communicating strategic visions to internal stakeholders and partnering across the business unit including marketing, design, development, and IT teams.
Maintaining expert level understanding of latest industry trends on search and AI, guidelines, and algorithm changes
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
Four or more years of experience in SEO with a strong focus on technical SEO tactics and innovative linkbuilding strategies
A background and portfolio of having delivered both single channel and integrated channels campaigns that have delivered business performance
Advanced user in Google Analytics, SEMRush, Google Webmaster tools and other industry tools.
Knowledge and experience with html.
Even better if you have:
A strong background in data and analytics.
Experience working with and managing an agency.
The ability to prioritize projects based on their potential impact to the business.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You'll be working with multiple cultures and business units.
Excellent project management skills and strong follow-up as you'll be working with multiple stakeholders.

The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $91,500.00 - $159,000.00.
