About the Role
ā¢ We are looking for a Senior Web3 & Blockchain Engineer to join our distributed team and help design, build, and refine production-grade Web3 platforms.
ā¢ This role is ideal for a senior engineer who:
ā¢ Is comfortable working across smart contracts, backend services, and frontend dApps
ā¢ Values clean architecture, security, and maintainable systems
ā¢ Enjoys collaborating with engineers, product leaders, and designers
ā¢ Takes ownership and treats product quality and security as shared responsibilities
ā¢ You will play a key role in translating business and product requirements into secure, scalable Web3 solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Web3 & Blockchain Development
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts and blockchain integrations
ā¢ Build and integrate Web3 APIs, services, and backend systems
ā¢ Develop and maintain dApp frontends with a strong focus on usability and reliability
ā¢ Work with wallets, signing flows, and on-chain/off-chain interactions
System Quality & Security
ā¢ Ensure smart contract security, performance, and correctness
ā¢ Improve existing codebases for scalability, clarity, and maintainability
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices around Web3 security and architecture
Collaboration & Ownership
ā¢ Work closely with cross-functional teams as a true technical partner
ā¢ Clearly communicate technical decisions and progress in a remote environment
ā¢ Proactively suggest improvements to product design, architecture, and workflows
Required Qualifications
ā¢ 4ā6+ years of professional software development experience
ā¢ 2+ years of hands-on Web3 / blockchain development
ā¢ Strong experience with Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
ā¢ Proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development
ā¢ Experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React)
ā¢ Backend experience with Node.js or similar technologies
ā¢ Experience working on production systems with real users
ā¢ Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fully remote setting
Preferred Qualifications
ā¢ Experience with DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or on-chain marketplaces
ā¢ Familiarity with Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, or other L2s
ā¢ Experience with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js, wagmi, etc.)
ā¢ Understanding of smart contract auditing and security best practices
ā¢ Experience in early-stage or small, collaborative engineering teams
ā¢ Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity
Engagement Details
ā¢ Weekly Compensation: $3,000 ā $3,500 USD (depending on experience and scope)
ā¢ Payment: USD or cryptocurrency (USDC / USDT / ETH ā flexible)
ā¢ Time commitment: ~15ā25 hours per week
ā¢ Location: Fully remote
ā¢ Engagement type: Contract, with potential for long-term or extended collaboration
