The Senior Visualization Developer is responsible for turning complex CX, product, and operational data into clear, intuitive, decision‑ready visualizations . This role designs and builds dashboards that help executives, product teams and service leaders quickly understand performance, identify friction, and make informed decisions. This is a hands‑on visualization and data storytelling role focused on clarity, usability, and adoption—not static reporting. Success is measured by how effectively dashboards are used to drive decisions and action. What you’ll be doing The Visualization Developer designs, builds, and maintains high‑quality dashboards and visual products that support CX strategy, journey management, and operational decision‑making. This role works with CX leaders, analysts, and business partners to translate business questions into clear visual structures, defining the right metrics, comparisons, and drill paths before development begins. Dashboards are built to support executive, strategic, and operational use cases, with strong attention to layout, hierarchy, interactivity, and accessibility. The role develops dashboards for customer journeys, funnels, digital adoption, CX metrics (e.g., NPS, CSAT, effort), and operational performance. Visualizations are designed to surface drivers, trends, and tradeoffs quickly, without requiring deep analytical interpretation. The Visualization Developer partners closely with BI Engineers and data teams to ensure datasets support dashboard logic, performance, and accuracy. This includes validating data, resolving issues, and maintaining trusted, performant dashboards. The role also supports visualization standards, documentation, and ongoing improvements based on stakeholder feedback and usage patterns. What you will need to be successful Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent practical experience 3–6+ years of experience building dashboards in tools such as Power BI or Tableau Strong expertise in data visualization principles and dashboard UX Proven ability to translate complex data into clear visual narratives Hands‑on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools Working knowledge of DAX, Power Query, SQL, or equivalent transformation logic Familiarity with customer journeys, CX metrics, or product/operational analytics preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills #LI-Remote This is a remote position. Salary Range: $83500.00 To $106000.00 / year Benefits & Perks: The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. Trailhead participation is a key expectation of this role. Trailhead is held onsite at our headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers all required travel and accommodations.
