Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, visionary Senior Visual Marketing Manager to lead arenaflex’s in‑store visual initiatives across California. In this role, you will partner with cross‑functional teams—including Merchandising, Store Operations, Marketing, Space Planning, and Digital—to design, execute, and continuously improve visual strategies that attract, inspire, and convert shoppers.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Visual Marketing to develop and align visual merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
Project Management: Oversee large‑scale visual marketing projects from concept through store rollout, managing timelines, budgets, and cross‑functional resources.
In‑Store Execution: Direct the implementation of visual displays, fixtures, lighting, signage, and promotional materials in partnership with Store Operations and Visual Execution Teams.
Innovation & Optimization: Apply data‑driven insights to refine store layouts, product placements, and visual storytelling, driving incremental sales and improved shopper experience.
Tool & Asset Development: Lead the evolution of visual merchandising toolkits, guidelines, and onboarding materials for both corporate and field teams.
Team Development: Mentor Visual Merchandising Leads, fostering skill development, cross‑functional collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between Visual Marketing, Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Operations, ensuring clear alignment on objectives and deliverables.
Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs, monitor visual impact on sales, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, and present findings to senior leadership.


Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Visual Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in retail visual merchandising, with at least 2 years leading complex, multi‑store projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive projects from concept through execution.
Strong analytical mindset; ability to translate shopper data and market trends into compelling visual solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Self‑starter with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with large‑box retail environments (e.g., big‑box supermarkets, hypermarkets).
Background in digital retail experiences, e‑commerce visual storytelling, or omnichannel merchandising.
Certification or coursework in Project Management (PMP, Agile, Scrum).
Proven track record of mentoring and developing high‑performing visual teams.
Familiarity with retail store planning software (e.g., JDA, SAP Retail).
