About the Role: UX Engineer/Sr UX Engineer, IT We're on a mission to revolutionize the travel experience through cutting-edge technology and user-centered design. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product decisions, leveraging your expertise in UX design, interaction design, and user research. Key Responsibilities Influence product owner decisions based on UX best practices, design principles, and research, using agile methodologies. Collaborate with developers to identify the most effective, efficient, and expedient solutions. Collect, analyze, present, and action feedback, managing changes to UX deliverables. Present your work in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders. Provide timely status updates on all products, including work left to do, issues, and risks. Communicate effectively with team members to drive projects forward. Design the visual style, interface, and interaction flow of applications, adhering to design standards and patterns. Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes, considering systems thinking and information architecture. Create research strategies, usability test plans, scripts, and scenarios for prototypes. Use research techniques to determine ease-of-use and comprehension of designs and ideas. Qualifications for Success Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline. 3 years of experience as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or a similar field. Experience working closely with developers in an agile environment. Experience collaborating across disciplines, product lines, roles, geographical, and time zone boundaries. Knowledge and proficiency in using remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing devices and platforms. Experience with emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Spatial Computing. Experience rapidly iterating designs for user testing and development teams. Experience in responsive, adaptive, and accessible designs. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Library Sciences, or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience as a UX practitioner with a background in user experience design, interaction design, or a similar field. Experience with Accessibility: WCAG 2.0+ AA compliance, localization, and inclusive design. Experience with mobile app design for iOS and Android. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need: Strong skills in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe CC, etc.). Advanced analytical skills for complex data problems and sustainable solutions. Strong organizational skills for labeling, classifying, and building flows and wireframes. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with non-technical users. In-depth understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and trends in web and app design.
