Position Summary:
Nickol Global Solutions (NGS), on behalf of the newly formed Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) Bureau, is seeking an experienced Senior USAID Management Expert to support the Management Cadre Support (MCS) Office. The Senior Management Expert must have the capacity to act independently and proactively to anticipate the needs of a complex operational unit. They will be responsible for advanced operational and strategic support to the MCS Office in supporting the Bureau's more than 100 staff members and the global DRG cadre. The incumbent must have strong written and oral communication, coordination, and facilitation skills, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and a high customer service standard. They must demonstrate sound judgement and excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. The Senior USAID Management Expert must have experience with USAID, and the ability to manage a variety of complex tasks under extremely short deadlines... The work location for this position will be remote for a duration of 3-6 months based on client funding. The start date for this position is immediate.
Duties:
The Senior USAID Management Expert will have the overall responsibility for:
? Designing processes for the DRG Bureau;
? Assisting US Direct Hires with creating an internal bureau awards program;
? Assisting with the development of Foreign Service Officer (FSO) Onboarding and Training Process; documents, including guidance for supervisors;
? Designing rollout plans for DRG Bureau processes;
? Understanding of the government clearance process and ability to track and assist with finishing long-term projects;
? Documenting Travel and Telework Policies to create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
? Supporting the implementation of DRG Bureau processes by creating materials to facilitate client understanding;
? Serve as the point of contact concerning management/leadership issues and provide advice and guidance to DRG leadership on questions and matters related to the DRG Bureau's operations and work;
? Determine pertinent issues and collect relevant information from a variety of sources in adherence to Agency guidelines, policies, regulations; and
? Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree and 6 years? experience working at USAID or USAID implementing partners.
? Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, showing a high attention to detail.
? Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
? Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
? Professional proficiency in English.
? Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
? Must be a U.S. citizen.
