About this Role: Thermal architecture of small spacecraft’s payload accommodations modulesThermal modeling and analysis of spacecraft and payloadsWork closely with design engineers to implement thermal designsDesign and execute thermal test plans for spacecraft and sub-system/component levelThermal model validation activities using test and flight dataCross-disciplinary engineering across all levels of a satellite programWorking on the development of thermal and system analysis toolsManaging the procurement of thermal hardware with suppliers (MLIs, thermal straps, TIM) Must Haves: 7+ years of spacecraft thermal engineering experience.End-to-end spacecraft thermal designSpacecraft-level thermal analysis using Systema/Thermica or Esatan thermal analysis software.Experience in detailed thermal analysis of electronic boxes and PCBs (Femap TMG or similar FEA software)Experience with thermal testing inputs and oversight (TVAC, TBal, Thermal Cycling)Ability to cope with stress in multicultural and fast-evolving environments.Full professional proficiency in English, written and spoken. French is a plus.
