Responsibilities: Build and maintain thoughtful, scalable automation for UI, API, and data testingPartner closely with developers, analysts, and product teams to ensure testable, high-quality outcomesDesign and optimise test plans, frameworks, and environments to support seamless deliveryProactively identify and resolve issues in test execution, reducing flakiness and improving reliabilityContribute to a culture of continuous improvement through innovation, collaboration, and shared learningsMaintain clear documentation to support test traceability and knowledge sharingLead by example—mentoring others, fostering best practices, and championing a quality-first mindsetCollaborate with DevOps and QA to embed testing into CI/CD workflowsSupport training and knowledge-sharing sessions to uplift QA capabilities across the teamKeep a strong focus on client needs, team collaboration, and delivering solutions that truly make a difference Requirements: Adegree in IT, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent practical experienceHands-on experience in backend test automation, ideally in fintech or financial systemsComfortable working with tools like Postman, Playwright, Nutter, and databases like MongoDB and MS SQLConfident scripting queries for data validation and supporting complex data pipelinesFamiliarity with Agile ways of working and collaboration tools like Jira and ConfluenceExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, or similarISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a plusExposure to caching technologies like DuckDB is beneficialYou’re a natural collaborator who values clear communication and teamworkYou bring a thoughtful, detail-oriented mindset to testing and automationYou’re proactive, organised, and driven by a desire to improve how things workYou balance technical confidence with a people-first, ethical approachYou value learning, mentorship, and contributing to team success Additional Information THE HUB24 STORYWe think creatively and we’re not constrained by traditional thinking or barriers to success.
