Senior Technical Services Specialist - Hybrid Remote Office Support and Field Engineering Expert

As a Senior Technical Services Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch technical support to our associates and customers, both in-person and remotely. Key Responsibilities and Expectations As a Senior Technical Services Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing direct technical support to associates and customers, resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring seamless operations of our systems and applications. Leading and implementing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Utilizing your advanced understanding of Microsoft Client Win10/Win11 fundamentals, troubleshooting audio/visual hardware and software, and installing and troubleshooting printers and network software. Working with various teams to develop solutions to reduce outage time for Major Incidents (MI) and ensuring the availability of business applications. Utilizing tools such as Remedy/SMART IT, Bomgar, and Blancco to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Office products, WebEx, VoIP/Equality, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and User identity and security access management. Collaborating with vendors, managing Return Merchandise Authorizations, and ensuring compliance with PCI protocols and cybersecurity requirements. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you should possess: 5+ years of hands-on experience in computing devices and computer Operating Systems, including Windows, with UNIX/Linux as a plus. Advanced understanding of computing devices, operating systems, software installation, and administration. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone etiquette, and strong problem-solving skills. Proven success in implementing projects, with experience in technical documentation, and advanced understanding of Microsoft Office tools. Advanced understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, network protocols, and cloud computing, with proficiency in client hardware troubleshooting and cybersecurity requirements. Familiarity with using command prompt and/or PowerShell scripting, access point management (Cisco Prime or similar), and VoIP provisioning and remediation. One or more of the following certifications are highly desired: CompTIA Certifications (IT Fundamentals+, A+, Network+, Cloud+, Security+), Microsoft Certifications (Azure Fundamentals, MTA, Windows Operating Fundamentals, Networking Fundamentals, Security Fundamentals, and Programming Fundamentals), or Cisco Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA). Preferred Qualifications and Education While not required, the following qualifications and education are preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and business applications. Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and User identity and security access management. Familiarity with data center and remote office equipment, and experience with core equipment in these environments.
