About the position
The Senior Technical Project Manager for Operational Design & Service Enablement at Verizon is responsible for leading the design and implementation of innovative products and services. This role involves managing a portfolio of high-impact projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery while enhancing the customer experience.
Responsibilities
Ā Managing a portfolio of 6-8 high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery within scope and budget.

Ā Collaborating closely with product teams throughout the product development lifecycle, providing input on requirements and development.
,
Ā Leveraging Agile and Project Management best practices to drive efficient project execution.
,
Ā Partnering effectively with cross-functional teams across Verizon Business Group (VBG), including Operations, Service Delivery, IT, and external vendors.
,
Ā Overseeing all project phases, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
,
Ā Providing clear and concise project updates to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Requirements
Ā Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience

Ā Six or more years of relevant work experience
,
Ā Experience leading and working with cross functional teams
,
Ā Experience in leading meetings (calls/Webex/in-person), stating project goals and objectives, and driving team members to meet those goals throughout the project lifecycle
,
Ā Strong organizational and project management skills
,
Ā Strategic planning capability
,
Ā Experience with Google Drive, MS Word, MS PPT, MS Project and MS Excel skills
,
Ā Willingness to travel

Ā A degree

Ā Eight or more years of project management experience, especially in support of a Product Development organization

Ā PMP certification and/or VLSS
,
Ā Experience in Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations, especially with Telecommunications networks (ie. Wireless - 4G/5G, Advance Communications, Network and Security)

Ā Technical and project leadership knowledge experience
